quadratum b d; in humidum demiſſa, & poſi-
ta inclinata adeo, ut baſis ipſius non contingat

conſiſtet inclinata, ita ut baſis in uno

Si portio ad humidum in grauitate maiorem
Bquidem proportionem habeat, quàm quadra-
tum f p ad quadratum b d;
minorem uero,
quàm quadratum x o ad b d quadratum;
in hu-
midum demiſſa, &
inclinata adeo, ut baſis ipſius
non contingat humidum conſiſtet, &
manebit
ita, ut baſis in humidum magis demergatur.

Si portio ad humidum in grauitate proportio
nem habeat minorem, quàm quadratum f p ad
quadratum b d:
demiſſa in humidum, & poſita
inclinata adeo ut baſis ipſius non contingat humi
dum:
conſiſtet inclinata, ita ut axis ipſius cum
humidi ſuperficie angulum faciat minorem an-
gulo φ:
& baſis nullo modo ſuperficiem humi-
di contingat.
Hæc autem omnia deinceps de-
monſtrabuntur.
