diatè, & directè oſtenditur aeris grauitas, & primò

inflatum maiorem grauitatem, & preſſionem exerce­
re quàm vacuum.

comprobatum eſt, & ſumma facilitate perfici poteſt
non quidem follibus violenter inſufflando vtrem, ſed
leni plenitudine vtre clauſo, vel commodiùs pila lu­
ſoria aerea ad trutinam examinata, & poſtea funicu­
lo circa vtrem, vel pilam reuoluto violenterque con­
ſtricto, tune quidem ob aeris condenſationem pon­
dus vtris, aut pilæ manifeſtè ad trutinam augetur;
præterea, vt docuit Galilæus, intra vitream lagenam
