PROP. CXXIV.
Si aeris minimæ particulæ eſſent coni excauati magnetica
virtute affecti, ſaluari poſſent symptomatæ condenſa­
tionis violentæ, & ſpontaneæ eius ingentis
rarefactionis.
PRimò enim excogitaui artificium, quo ſuppoſi­
tis aereis minimis particulis non flexibilibus,
poſſet nihilominùs fieri prædicta aeris ſpontanea di­
latatio.
Supponebam enim minimas aeris particulas
eſſe conicas, ſed excauatas: tunc quidem, cum vertex vnius
aerei coni poſſit intra cauitatem alterius inſinuari, po­
teſt planè ſaluari illa compreſſio, quæ videtur incon­
prehenſibilis
aliquibus Philoſophis, quia enim pars
ſolida corporea, & plena prædictorum conorum po­
teſt eſſe nedùm pars bis milleſima, ſed adhùc minor
ſpatio inani intra prædictos conos contento, nil enim
vetat corpus denſum, ac durum in graciliſſimas lami­
nas extendi poſſe, à quibus coni excauati efformen­
tur.
