Hydroſtatica.
Definitio Fluidi.
Fluidum eſt corpus omne cujus partes cedunt vi cuicunQ.E.I.latæ,
& cedendo facile moventur inter ſe.
PROPOSITIO XIX. THEOREMA XIV.
Fluidi homogenei & immoti quod in vaſe quocunQ.E.I.moto clau­
ditur & undique comprimitur, partes omnes (ſepoſita conden­
ſationis, gravitatis & virium omnium centripetarum conſide­
ratione) æqualiter premuntur undique, & abſque omni motu a
preſſione illa orto permanent in locis ſuis.
Caſ.1. In vaſe ſphærico ABCclaudatur & uniformiter com­
primatur fluidum undique: dico quod ejuſdem pars nulla ex illa
preſſione movebitur.

moveatur, neceſſe eſt ut omnes hujuſmodi
partes, ad eandem a centro diſtantiam un­
dique conſiſtentes, ſimili motu ſimul move­
antur; atque hoc adeo quia ſimilis & æ­
qualis eſt omnium preſſio, & motus omnis
excluſus ſupponitur, niſi qui a preſſione il­
la oriatur.
Atqui non poſſunt omnes ad
centrum propius accedere, niſi fluidum ad
centrum condenſetur; contra Hypotheſin.

Non poſſunt longius ab eo recedere, niſi
fluidum ad circumferentiam condenſetur;
