time, from leaking more or leſs: although
(as we have lately intimated) by unwearyed
quickneſs in plying the Pump, the inter
nall Air can be much faſter drawn out
then the external can get in, till the Re
ceiver come to be almoſt quite empty.
And that's enough to enable men to diſ
cover hitherto unobſerved Phænomena of
Nature.
