Concipe iam
lineas ab angulo incipientes repræſentare tempus ab
aliquo puncto æquabiliter fluens, & parteis linearum
æqualeis repræſentare æqualeis parteis, ſiue mo­
menta temporis.
Concipe rurſùs interuallum vnifor­
miter creſcens repræſentare velocitatem vniformi­
ter increſcentem, & quos pareis triangulos vides,
totidem gradus velocitatis, & conſequenter parteis
ſpatij, quod graue decidens percurrit.
Tunc agnoſ­
ces ſanè, cùm in primo momento ſit vnus gradus
impetus, ſeu velocitatis, acquiri in ſecundo treis, in
tertio quinque, in quarto ſeptem, qui progreſſus eſt
numerorum ab vnitate imparium.
Et aliunde, ſi du­
cas lineam, quæ diuiſa in ſexdecim parteis referat
orgyiarum ſexdecim altitudinem; agnoſces cur gra­
ue in fine primi momenti deſcenderit vnam orgyiam,
in fine ſecundi quatuor, in fine tertij nouem, in fine
quarti ſexdecim: quia nempe ita ſe habere aggre­
gando intelliguntur memorati trianguli in fine
cuiuſque repræſentati momenti.
Agnoſces quoque,
cur idem graue ſurſùm projectum ſecundum ean­
dem lineam tanto tempore aſcendat, quanto deſ­
cendit, & velocitas motus eius eadem ratione aſcen­
