Vtque hæc experientia commodè exequi poſſet
efformaui fiſtulas vitreas ſextam, & ſeptimam deli-
neatas folio 43. libri experimentorum noſtræ Aca-
demiæ Experimentalis Mediceæ, ſed poſtea facilio-
ri apparatu idipſum conſequi poſſe animaduerti me-
diante hoc inſtrumento, eſtque eius artificium hu-
iuſmodi: ampullæ vitreæ AB cuius diameter proximè
quatuor digitos adæquet continuetur prælonga fiſtu-
la BC maiore duorum cubitorum, quæ inflexa ſit
eius infimo loco CEF, atque in ſupremo loco eius A
continuetur quoque ſtricta alia fiſtula AD cuius ex-
tremum ſupremum orificium apertum D claudi poſ-
ſit poſt mercurij infuſionem ſuilla veſica; poſtea ter-
minus extremus alterius fiſtulæ FG vniatur cum al-
tero extremo fiſtulæ incuruatæ appoſitis colligatiſ-
que portionibus inteſtini agnini, quæ ne rumpantur
diffringantur que à nimio mercurij pondere pariter
operiantur fiſtula, vel digitali coriaceo, atque arctè
alligatis inteſtinis, & corio vtriſque extremitatibus
fiſtularum, poterit facilè fiſtula FG inflecti ſursùm,
& deorsùm poſt mercurij infuſionem, eriganturquę
perpendiculariter ad horizontem ambæ fiſtulæ DB
C, & GF.
His præparatis per orificium D infundatur
hydrargyrum quouſque duæ fiſtulæ BC, FG, & am-
pulla AB, repleantur, relinquaturque ſpatium ſupre-
fiſtulæ ID aere plenum, arctè poſteà claudatur
ſupremum orificium D ſuilla veſica; tandèm flecta-
tur deorsùm fiſtula collateralis FG, ab eius ſupremo
ore G profluens mercurius excipiatur vaſe MN,
