            repreſent the Loadſtone, and the outward one
              <lb/>
            betwixt B C, the Orb that does terminate its

            coming within this Sphere, as B, will preſent-

            ly deſcend towards the Centre of it, and in

            that reſpect may be ſtiled heavy. </s>

            it without the Sphere, as C, and then the de-
              <lb/>
            ſire of Union ceaſeth, and ſo conſequently the

            Motion alſo.</s>

            <s xml:id="echoid-s2076" xml:space="preserve">To apply then what hath been ſaid. </s>

            great Globe of Earth and Water, hath been
              <lb/>
            proved by many Obſervations, to participate
              <lb/>
            of magnetical properties. </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s2078" xml:space="preserve">And as the Load-
              <lb/>
            ſtone does caſt forth its own vigour round about
              <lb/>
            its Body, in a Magnetical compaſs: </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s2079" xml:space="preserve">So likewiſe
              <lb/>
            does our Earth. </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s2080" xml:space="preserve">The difference is, that it is
              <lb/>
            another kind of affection which cauſes the uni-
              <lb/>
            on betwixt the Iron and Load-ſtone, from that
              <lb/>
            which makes Bodies move unto the Earth.</s>
