            vvill ſtill ſeem to be ſvviftly Retrograde, and
              <lb/>
            appear in the Point at (p); </s>

              <lb/>
            come to the Points (Ii), Jupiter vvill then
              <lb/>
            ſeem to be ſlovver in this Motion, and to
              <lb/>
            have only paſſed the ſpace (pn). </s>

            them being transferred to (Kk), Jupiter
              <lb/>
            vvill then appear in the Zodiack at (o), as
              <lb/>
            being again Direct, going forvvard accord-
              <lb/>
            ing to the order of the Signs; </s>

              <lb/>
            the Earth did paſs the Arch (IK), Jupiter
              <lb/>
            then remain’d betvveen the Points (no),
              <lb/>
            and ſo conſequently, did again ſeem to be

            Stationary. </s>

              <lb/>
            and thenceto (Mm), Jupiter vvill ſtill ap-
              <lb/>
            pear Direct, and to have gone forvvard in
              <lb/>
            the Zodiack from (q) to (t). </s>

            the ſpace vvherein Jupiter is Retrograde, is
              <lb/>
            repreſented by the Arch (nz). </s>

            ſpace, he himſelf moves in his ovvn Orb, the
              <lb/>
            Arch (ei), and ſo the Earth in its Orb, a
              <lb/>
            proportional ſpace (EI).</s>

            <s xml:id="echoid-s5294" xml:space="preserve">As it hath been ſaid of this Planet, ſo like-

            vviſe is it appliable to the other. </s>

              <lb/>
            Mars, Venus, Mercury; </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s5296" xml:space="preserve">all vvhich are thus
              <lb/>
            made to appear direct, ſtationary, and retro-
              <lb/>
            grade, by the motion of our Earth, vvith-
              <lb/>
            out the help of thoſe Epycicles and Eccen-
              <lb/>
            tricks, and ſuch unneceſſary Wheel-vvork,
              <lb/>
            vvherevvith Ptolomy hath filled the Heavens.</s>
