            thought, the Ancients did allude, in the Fa-

            ble of Phaëton, when the Sun was ſo irregu-

            lar in his courſe, that he burnt ſome part of

            whith hapned in later Times, would not
              <lb/>
            have been ſo wholly forgotten. </s>

            gument urged by Origen, That the

            at our Saviour's Paſſion was not univerſal,
              <lb/>
            becauſe no prophane Author of thoſe times
              <lb/>
            mentions it. </s>

            ry ſame with that which is urged in this
              <lb/>

            after he had related the flight of Senacherib,

            he tells us, how the Sun did, four times in
              <lb/>
            the ſpace of 10340 Years, invert his courſe,
              <lb/>
            and riſe in the Weſt; </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s2991" xml:space="preserve">which would ſeem ſo
              <lb/>
            unto other Nations, if he had only returned,
              <lb/>
            as many conclude, from this Scripture. </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s2992" xml:space="preserve">As
              <lb/>
            for this ſtory, (I ſay) it cannot well be ur-
              <lb/>
            ged as pertinent to the preſent buſineſs, be-
              <lb/>
            cauſe it ſeems to have reference unto Times
              <lb/>
            that never were.</s>
