            and ſtable from all ſuch motions, whereby

            it is jogged, or uncertainly ſhaken.</s>

            vines, which he urges for the interpretation
              <lb/>
            of theſe Scriptures; </s>

            Argument againſt that Opinion which is al-
              <lb/>
            ready granted to be a Paradox.</s>

            <s xml:id="echoid-s4806" xml:space="preserve">The Scriptures themſelves, in their

            right meaning, will not at all conduce to the
              <lb/>
            preſent purpoſe.</s>

            <s xml:id="echoid-s4808" xml:space="preserve">As for that in Iſaiah, if we conſult the
              <lb/>
            coherence, we ſhall find that the ſcope of
              <lb/>
            the Prophet, is to ſet forth the Glory of
              <lb/>
            the Church Triumphant. </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s4809" xml:space="preserve">Wherein (he
              <lb/>
            ſays) there ſhall not be any need of the Sun
              <lb/>
            or Moon, but God's preſence ſhall ſupply
              <lb/>
            them both: </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s4810" xml:space="preserve">For the Lord ſhall be unto thee an
              <lb/>
            everlaſting Light, and thy God thy Glory,
              <lb/>
            verſ. </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s4811" xml:space="preserve">19. </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s4812" xml:space="preserve">and as for this Sun and Moon, it
              <lb/>
            ſhall not go down, or withdraw it ſelf; </s>

            depends upon the ceſſation of the Heavens,

            is to beg the Queſtion, and to ſuppoſe that

            which is to be proved, viz. </s>
