            <s xml:space="preserve">Suppoſe the Earth to be at C, then the

            Sun at A, will ſeem to be in the Sign ♋, and
              <lb/>
            at the greateſt diſtance from us, becauſe the
              <lb/>
            Earth is then in the fartheſt parts of its Ec-
              <lb/>
            centrick. </s>
            <s xml:space="preserve">When after, by its Annual Moti-
              <lb/>
            on, it hath paſſed ſucceſſively by the Signs
              <lb/>
            ♒ ♓ ♈ ♉ ♊, at length it comes to the other
              <lb/>
            Solſtice at B, where the Sun will appear in ♑,
              <lb/>
            and ſeem biggeſt, as being in its Perigie, be-
              <lb/>
            cauſe our Earth is then in the neareſt part of
              <lb/>
            its Eccentrick.</s>
