’Tis not the endeavour

Moſes, or the Prophets, to diſcover any
Mathematical
or Philoſophical Subtilties,

, Moſes is there to handle the Hiſtory of

his purpoſe is to treat only of the viſible

Ignorant
and Ruder ſort of People, and there-

we are not thence to expect the diſcovery

any Natural Secret.
