            time, we may well conceive, that in all thoſe

            ſeveral Generations, both before and ſince,
              <lb/>
            the number was much augmented; </s>

            purpoſe, to ſhew that the Holy Ghoſt does

            not ſpeak exactly concerning natural Se-

              <note position="right" xlink:label="note-0223-01" xlink:href="note-0223-01a" xml:space="preserve">1 Kin.7.23

              2 Chro.4.2</note>
            which relates unto us the meaſure of Solo-
              <lb/>
            mon's brazen Sea, whoſe Diameter was ten
              <lb/>
            Cubits, and its circumference thirty; </s>

              <lb/>
            as to ſpeak Geometrically, the more exact
              <lb/>
            proportion betwixt the Diameter and the
              <lb/>
            Circumference, is not as ten to thirty, but
              <lb/>
            rather as ſeven to twenty two.</s>

            from helping the matter, that it makes it
              <lb/>
