            twixt Saturn and Jupiter; </s>

            traëdron, the diſtance betwixt Jupiter and
              <lb/>
            Mars ; </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s4238" xml:space="preserve">a Dodecaëdron, the diſtance betwixt
              <lb/>
            Mars and the Earth; </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s4239" xml:space="preserve">an Icoſaëdron, the diſtance
              <lb/>
            betwixt the Earth & </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s4240" xml:space="preserve">Venus; </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s4241" xml:space="preserve">and an Octoëdron,
              <lb/>
            the diſtance betwixt Venus & </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s4242" xml:space="preserve">Mercury: </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s4243" xml:space="preserve">that
              <lb/>
            is, if we conceive a Circumference deſcri-
              <lb/>
            bed immediately without the Cube, and a-
              <lb/>
            nother within it, the diſtance between theſe
              <lb/>
            two, will ſhew what proportional diſtance
              <lb/>
            there is betwixt the Orb of Saturn, and
              <lb/>
            that of Jupiter. </s>

            ceive a Circumference deſcribed on the out-
              <lb/>
            ſide of a Pyramis, or Tetraëdron, and ano-
              <lb/>
            ther within it, this will ſhew ſuch a propor-

            tional diſtance, as there is betwixt the Orb
              <lb/>
            of Mars, from that of Jupiter. </s>

            oportet plures quàm quinque proportiones eſſe,
              <lb/>
            totidem nempè quot regularia ſunt in Matheſi
              <lb/>
            corpora. </s>

              <lb/>
            proportionum numerum: </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s4250" xml:space="preserve">Becauſe there are
              <lb/>
            but five proportions, ſo many as there are
              <lb/>
            regular Bodies in Mathematicks, each of
              <lb/>
            whoſe Sides and Angles are equal one to
              <lb/>
            another. </s>

            quired to conſummate this number of pro-
              <lb/>
