uenire, ex eo, quòd partes aquæ fluidæ æquali niſu
grauitatis comprimunt vndequaque corpus anima-
lis demerſum, nempè è parte ſuprema infima, & col-

laterali, quia ibidem oſtendimus, quòd impulſio, at-
que compreſſio in vno peculiari loco facta luxatio-
nem, rupturam, contuſionemque efficere poteſt, &
è contra ſi eadem virtus compreſſiua multiplicetur,
vt vndique impellat, comprimatque corpus animalis,
tunc oſtendimus nedùm noxam doloremque non au-
geri, ſed è contrà nullam luxationem, neque contu-
ſionem, & proinde nullam paſſionem dolorificam̨
procreari poſſe.
Et hoc euidentiſſimum eſt ex ſupe-
riùs demonſtratis.
Præterea diximus, quòd licèt in-
ſignis luxatio, & diuiſio continui ab vniuerſali illą
compreſſione fluidi non ſubſequatur, non tamen ne-
gari poteſt conſtrictio quædam totius corporis, quæ
quidem in profundo oceani oportet vt ſentiatur, ob
nouitatem; at in aere nullo pacto animal ab vniuer-
ſali eius compreſſione conſtrictioneque vllam paſ-
ſionem percipere debet ob aſſuetudinem, ab ipſo e-
nim ortu animalia ſemper eadem veſte aerea ambiun-
tur
conſtringunturque, proindeque nullam mutatio-
nem in ipſo animali aeris compreſſio producit, &
propterea cenſet à nulla vi ambiente conſtringi, aut
comprimi, igitur à prædicta vi compreſſiua carnes,
vaſa, & viſcera patiuntur conſtrictionem quamdam,
