Aquas autem, ex puteis extractas, excipiunt canales, uel infundibula, per
quæ tranſmittuntur in canales: ſimiliter aquæ è lateribus cuniculorum efflu
entes in canales deriuantur.
Hi conſtant ex binis trabibus excauatis, & arctè
coniunctis ut aquas profluentes poſsint continere: ex ore cuniculi uſque ad
extremam eius partem pertinent aſſeribus contecti, ne terra uel ſaxum in eos
incidens aquarum curſum impediat.
Quòd ſi multus limus paulatim in ipſis
ſubſederit aſſeribus ſublatis purgantur, ne, quod etiam tunc eis accidit, ob­
ſtruantur & obturentur.
Quos autem canales metallici extra terram infun­
dibulis quæ ſunt ad caſas puteorum, ſubijciunt, eos plerunque cauant
ex ſingulis arboribus.
Infundibula uerò ferè conficiuntur
ex quatuor aſſeribus ſic inferius exciſis & con
iunctis, ut ſumma infundibulorum
pars fiat latior, angu­
ſtiorima.
