1tuor robuſti uiri circumagunt: unus enim uel duo trahunt uectes, unus uel
duo eoſdem trudunt, atque ita illos iuuant.

Quinta machina partim tertiæ ſimilis eſt, partim quartæ. Nam à uiris ro­
buſtis ut hæc circumagitur: ut illa duos habet axes, quanque utrunque ſtratum,
& tria tympana utriuſque axis codaces ſic in tignorum armillis incluſi ſunt, ut
exilire ne queant.
Inferiori aut axi altera parte ſunt uectes, altera tympanum den
tatum: ſuperiori altera tympanum quod ex fuſis conſtat, altera id, in quo fi­
bulæ ferreæ ſunt infixæ: quibus annuli catenæ ductariæ ſimiliter inhæren­
tes aquas pilis per fiſtulas eadem altitudine hauriunt.
