1circa uerò ſuculam funis ductarius inuoluitur, & eius media pars ad ipſam
religatur: at utraque eiuſdem anſa habet uncum ferreum, qui uaſis ſemicirculo
implicatur: itaque uectibus coacta ſucula dum uoluitur ſemper alterum uas
onere plenum ex puteo extrahitur in eundem demittitur uacuum.

autem ſuculam uiri duo robuſti, uterque prope ſe ciſium habens, in quod, cùm
uas ei propius fuerit extractum, exoneret.

ciſium.
Quare ubi quatuor extracta fuerint uterque ſuum ciſium ex caſa eue­
hit et euertit: ita fit, ut ſi putei fodiantur profundi, collis aſſurgat circa machi
næ caſam.
Quod ſi uena metallorum fœcunda non fuerit, terras ſaxaque diſcri­
mine remoto profundunt: ſi fœcunda, ſeorſim exonerata ſeruant, tundunt,
lauant.
