Sed ex pyritis crudis alijsúe miſtis aluminoſis alumen ſic fiat. Primo in a­
reis urantur: deinde aliquot menſibus aeri exponantur, ut molleſcant: tum in
cupas coniecti diluantur: poſthæc dilutum in plumbeas cortinas quadrangu
las infuſum coquatur donec ſpiſſetur in alumen: ſed pyritæ alijque lapides mi
ſti non aluminis modo, ſed atramenti etiam ſutorij participes fuerint, ut ple
runque eſſe ſolent, ex ipſis utrunque eo, quo dixi, modo, confiat.

dilutis fuerit metallum, ſiccentur, & ex eis in fornace co
ctis ipſum, ſiue aurum, ſiue argentum, ſiue æs fuerit, conficiatur.

ſutorium quatuor modis confici poteſt: duob.
ex aqua atramentoſa, uno ex me­
lanteriæ & ſoryos, & chalcitidis diluto: item uno ex terris uel lapidib.

Aquam aut atramentoſam in lacunis collectam, ſi inde deri­
uari non poteſt, operarij uel ſitulis hauſtam ex ipſis exportent, & in calidis

preſſas infundant: uel machinis è puteis extractam in canales fundant: per
