1mobilis maneat, utrinque muniatur: cum uenæ ſulfureæ in ollas, in fornaces im
poſitas, coniectæ fuerint, eas confeſtim operculare, & qua cum operculo coniun
guntur, luto oblinire conuenit ne ſulfur exhalent: eadem de cauſa ollæ ſubiectæ
operculis tegantur & luto oblinantur: lignis accenſis uenæ coquantur uſque dum
ſulfur exhalarint: uapor ſublatus dum per narem penetrat in ollam ſubiectam
craſſeſcit in ſulfur: quod ceræ liquefactæ ſimile in fundum decidit: ex quo
cum è foramine, quod ad ollæ fundum eſſe dixi, defluxerit excoctor uel pa­
nem efficit, uel cannas bacillaúe format, uel ſulfurata, exilibus lignis in id in
tinctis, conficit: mox ardentia ligna & prunas ex fornace extrahat, eaque refri
gerata duas illas ollas aperiat, & exinaniat purgamentis: quæ, ſi uenæ com­
poſitæ fuerint ex ſulfure & terra, cineris ſua ſponte reſtincti, ſimilia ſunt:
ſin ex ſulfure & terra & lapide, uel ex ſulfure & lapide tantum, terræ ualde
ſiccatæ, uel lapidi multum toſto: poſthæc ollæ rurſus uenis compleantur, et
eadem iſta omnia iterentur.
