1collocatis, uda tunditur in longa capſa, cui duæ ſunt laminæ foraminum ple­
næ, per quæ uena comminuta ſimul cum aqua defluit in ſubiectum canalem
tranſuerſum: ex quo duobus canaliculis defertur in capita arearum linteis ex­
tenſis contectarum: utrunque ex craſſo & lato aſſere, qui attolli & erigi poteſt,
& ad quem utrinque eminentes tabellæ ſunt affixæ, conſtat: in eo aſſere mul­
ta ſunt caua catillis, in quorum ſingulis ſingula oua mollia uel ſorbilia locan­
tur, & magnitudine æqualia & figura ſimilia: quibus cauis deorſum uerſus
breues ſunt receſſus auri uel argenti ramenta recipientes: quibus cum caua
ferè plena fuerint, aſſer in alterum latus erigitur, ut ramenta excidant in alter
um grandem: caua etiam aquis affuſis eluuntur.

ta lauantur in alueo, ſeparatim ea quæ in linteis reſederunt: alueus ille læuis
& altus duos digitos tranſuerſos figura ferè nauiculæ ſimilis eſt: nempe pri
ore parte latus, poſteriore anguſtus: in cuius medio canaliculus eſt tranſuer
ſus: in quo auri uel argenti ramenta pura ſubſidunt, arenæ quod leuiores;
ex eo excidunt.
