            of ignorant People, as if it took reſt all the

            while it was abſent from us, and came out

            of its Chamber, when it aroſe.</s>

            <s xml:id="echoid-s2862" xml:space="preserve">And rejoiceth as a Gyant to run his Race; </s>

            cauſe in the morning it appears bigger than
              <lb/>
            at other times; </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s2864" xml:space="preserve">and therefore in reference
              <lb/>
            to this appearance, may then be compared
              <lb/>
            unto a Giant.</s>

            and his Circuit unto the ends of it. </s>

              <lb/>
            again unto the opinion of the Vulgar: </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s2868" xml:space="preserve">who
              <lb/>
            not apprehending the roundneſs of the Hea-
              <lb/>
            vens, do conceive it to have two ends; </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s2869" xml:space="preserve">one
              <lb/>
            where the Sun riſeth, the other where it
              <lb/>
            ſetteth.</s>

            <s xml:id="echoid-s2871" xml:space="preserve">And there is nothing bid from the heat there-
              <lb/>
            of: </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s2872" xml:space="preserve">ſpeaking ſtill in reference to the com-
              <lb/>
            mon miſtake, as if the Sun were actually
              <lb/>
            hot in it ſelf; </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s2873" xml:space="preserve">and as if the heat of the
              <lb/>
            Weather were not generated by reflection,
              <lb/>
            but did immediately proceed from the body
              <lb/>
            of the Sun.</s>

            <s xml:id="echoid-s2875" xml:space="preserve">So likewiſe, for that in Eccleſiaſtes, where

            ’tis ſaid, The Sun riſeth, and the Sun goeth
              <lb/>
            down, &</s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s2876" xml:space="preserve">c. </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s2877" xml:space="preserve">Which phraſes being properly
              <lb/>
            underſtood, do import, that he is ſometimes
              <lb/>
            in a higher place than at others: </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s2878" xml:space="preserve">where-
              <lb/>
            as, in a circumference, there is no place
              <lb/>
            higher or lower, each part being at the ſame
              <lb/>
            diſtance from the Centre, which is the bot-
              <lb/>
            tom. </s>
            <s xml:id="echoid-s2879" xml:space="preserve">But now underſtand the phraſe in
              <lb/>
            reference to the Sun's appearance, and then
              <lb/>
            we grant that he does ſeem ſometimes to
              <lb/>
            riſe, and ſometimes to go down, </s>
