This set of pages, lettered aa to au is connected to Harriot's treatise 'De generatione aequationum canonicarum' in Add MS 6783 f. f. .
On this first page, Harriot works out the (a-b)(a-c)(a-d), (a-b)(a-c)(a+d), (a-b)(a+c)(a+d), (aa-bb)(a-d), (aa-bb)(a-d), (aa+bb)(a-d). In each case he writes down the values of a that reduce the resulting product to zero. For the second multiplication, for instance, he shows that the product becomes zero when a=b and a=c but not when a=d.
