Collection of the Islamic Scientific Manuscripts Initiative (ISMI)

This collection of historical sources is made openly available by the Islamic Scientific Manuscripts Initiative (ISMI). ISMI is an international collaborative endeavor that is working to make available a vast array of information online about the exact sciences in the premodern Islamic world. This material is accessible without charge for researchers and experts in the field as well as to the general public worldwide. The collection of historical manscripts of the Staatsbibliothek Berlin is made available in cooperation with the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science Berlin and the Institute of Islamic Studies at McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
