1aqua effuſa ſiccentur, ligno terantur: cum molybdæna & plumbo depaupe
rato permiſtæ excoquantur in prima fornace: miſtura argenti & plumbi, uel

Sunt præterea rerum, quæ aurum ab argento ſeparant, aliæ quædam con­
poſitiones
ex ſulfure & ſtibio alijsque confectæ: quarum una conſtat ex atramen
ti ſutorij ignis calore ſiccati & in puluerem reſoluti ſemuncia, ſalis facticij pur
gati ſextante, ſtibij triente, ſulfuris ignem non experti & præparati ſelibra, uitri
ſicilico, halinitri item ſicilico, ſalis ammoniaci drachma.
Sulfur uerò ſic præ­
paratur.
Primò conteritur in puluerem: deinde ſex horis ex acri aceto coquitur:
tum effuſum in uaſculum aqua calida abluitur: poſtremo quod reſedit in uaſculi
fundo ſiccatur: at ſal coniectus in aquam fluuialem, coquitur, ut purgetur, & rur­
ſus exiccatur.
Altera compoſitio habet ſulfuris ignem non experti libram unam, ſalis
purgati libras duas.
Tertia fit ex ſulfuris ignem non experti libra, ſalis facti­
tij purgati ſelibra, ſalis ammoniaci quadrante, minij è plumbo facti uncia.

Quarta conficitur ex ſalis factitij, ſulfuris ignem non experti, aridæ uini fecis,
lingulorum libra, chryſocollæ, quam Mauri boracem uocant, ſelibra.
